About the Project

First Kings of Europe: Projection Mapping Installation

For the First Kings of Europe exhibition, I created an immersive environment that transported visitors into a mysterious foggy forest. Using projection mapping on layered translucent fabric, I created shifting light patterns and subtle animations that evoked the sensation of moving through mist and trees.

The design emphasized atmosphere over spectacle—animations were intentionally restrained, allowing the layered fabric and light to create depth and a sense of discovery as visitors moved through the space. This approach balanced immersion with accessibility, ensuring the installation enhanced the exhibition’s narrative rather than overwhelming it.
