Overview
Wild Color transformed the science of color into a multisensory journey where projection, sound, and photography worked together to evoke the emotional character of each hue. My role was to develop the creative direction that unified these elements into a cohesive visitor experience.

Color-Based Sound Design System
Developed the creative framework for translating color into sound across the Wild Color exhibition in collaboration with composer Joshua Beck. Each gallery featured a distinct sonic identity designed to evoke the emotional qualities of its corresponding color, creating a cohesive auditory journey throughout the exhibition. Together, these soundscapes guided the visitor through a shifting emotional landscape, shaping how each gallery was experienced. In the Finale gallery, Joshua Beck combined all six soundscapes into a single evolving composition, unifying the exhibition’s full sonic journey.
Red — Dramatic, heavy tones with horns and deep resonance
Orange — Electrifying and energetic
Yellow — Light and airy
Green — Nature-inspired with birds, insects, and environmental textures
Blue — Deep, calm, and meditative
Purple — Vibrant and electrifying
