Still Searching: Chicago's Missing Black Women and Girls

Co-presented a TEDx talk alongside artist Damon Lamar Reed, sharing the creative journey behind Still Searching, a documentary exploring the crisis of missing Black women and girls in Chicago. I discussed my personal connection to the project, the creative process of directing the film, and how documentary storytelling can elevate underrepresented voices, foster empathy, and spark conversations around social justice. The presentation also offered a preview of the documentary, highlighting the collaboration between film and visual art to preserve the stories of those who remain missing.
